Pivoting to Digital Menu Display

Client Type

National restaurant concept with 1500+ locations.

Challenge

In spring of 2020, printed menus were difficult for the brand to use, as they needed to be consistently cleaned with harsh chemicals that made them break down very quickly. This client was looking for an alternative to printed menus in order to be flexible with supply chain issues and pricing variability at a moments notice.

How We Solved

Our team was able to add some custom processes in MenuNet that would check for any updated menu versions multiple times each day. If a menu had been updated, we were able to take the InDesign file and automatically convert it to a jpeg output that we then published to a hosted page.
