Using MenuNet’s Data-Driven Architecture for POS and OLO Outputs

Client Type

National restaurant concept with 1500+ locations.

Challenge

This client regularly used MenuNet's price reporting to load store-specific item and pricing information into their OLO and POS systems. Though all of the items that displayed on the printed menu were easily transferred into these systems, the items and modifiers that did not print on the menu were a major challenge to collect and import into the system.

How We Solved

Though MenuNet is used primarily for menu versioning, Trabon was able to create specific pages that collected menu items and pricing that don’t directly display on the menu. Trabon’s development team also created a new client administration tool within the MenuNet platform that allowed the client POS administrator to customize the items included in their reporting for easier and more accurate outputs.

Outcome

The outcome resulted in a significant time savings and accuracy of the data they were collecting from franchisees and managers. This custom reporting structure provided an upload template that made updating the POS system faster and more accurate.
